The Studio Launch
Archer Studio launched in June 2025 with a vibrant party at LCI Melbourne. The event also marked the launch of Archer Magazine #21: the ART issue. The night celebrated these two exciting milestones, and served as a love letter to our community of readers, contributors and supporters.
With live performances from award-winning musician Kira Puru, renowned drag king Bruno Salsicce and queer dancefloor icon DJ Gay Dad, the event was a successful and buzzy night of queer joy. We had powerful speeches from our team and from contributor Emil Cañita, that reflected on Archer’s 10+ years of uplifting stories from the margins and advocating for intersectional queer communities.
What We Made Happen
A milestone launch party for Archer Studio and Archer Magazine #21
We launched our ART issue: a textural, intimate and playful collection capturing a decade’s worth of underrepresented bodies, stories and expressive identities. The event brought together Archer’s extended community of contributors, readers, artists and advocates for a night of celebration, performance and connection.
