Many Coloured Sky is a global initiative that works alongside LGBTQIA+ communities to build safety, belonging and creative expression across borders. Archer Studio were approached to create website video content specifically because of our dedication to centring respect, inclusion and the complex realities of intersecting identities.
What We Made Happen
Community
Lived experience storytelling
Creating a community-led and safe set, the Archer team filmed clients and members of Many Coloured Sky’s communities about their experiences and their engagement with the organisation, to be used on their website and social media. The organisation trusted us to respect these individuals and their stories because of our proven experience and ethos around safety and community collaboration.
Advocacy
Videography for communities in need
Many Coloured Sky supports LGBTQI refugees, people seeking asylum, and internally displaced people in Australia and internationally. Videography, direction, production, sound, video editing and stills photography were all components of this project. The result was informative and engaging video content that prioritised lived experience storytelling, safety and respect, in order to engage more people to use their services.
