Pride in Place
Pride in Place is a service that provides safe and inclusive recovery pathways for LGBTQIA+ people experiencing homelessness. Archer Studio were brought on to develop video components for an e-learning module. The project required awareness and sensitivity around intersecting identities and complex needs.
What We Made Happen
Education
E-learning video that centres community
Pride in Place’s e-learning modules needed to be engaging, educational and incorporate genuine community collaboration. We supported members of staff as well as community representatives to meet their on-camera requirements with a sense of comfort and confidence. We attended to on-set needs to ensure a cohesive and responsive environment.
Accessibility
Post-production that exceeds expectations
Post-production included video and sound editing, soundtrack acquisition and placement, captioning for accessibility and feedback rounds as needed. Deadlines and deliverables were met, exceeding Pride in Place’s expectations.
